The organizing committee for the IWSM2023 reinforces its commitment with a rigorous and continuous evaluation of the COVID-19 pandemics in Brazil and across the world.
Our team is engaged to prepare and inform all participants, as possible as we can, the data about safety (infections rate, vaccination performance, etc.) conditions and prevention protocols (e.g., physical distancing, face masks, and eye protection, etc.) locally and around the city of Ouro Preto. The local sessions will follow strict health protocols seeking the safety of all participants. Naturally, we shall stablish safety protocols following the most rigorous practices for conferences, congresses, and similar events indicated by the recognized international authorities, such as WHO and UNESCO.
